ESL Adventures Cyber Camp Summer 2006

Migrant Program in York County, Pennsylvania

This website combines the Pennsylvania Board of Education English Language Learners Proficiency Standards  as well as Science and Technology Standards 3.7.C.D.E , due to the broad level of the children's abilities a certain standard is not applied to each child but rather each child is immersed in a curriculum that will enhance their abilities to  listen, speak, read, write, and understand computer literacy.

The website is broken down by age group in order to help the children to find their way around the site with out to much difficulty. Many of the sites appear in a multitude of pages due to this layout. Towards the top of the page are games to enhance the children's computer skills while at the bottom are child safe pages where they can research about different animals and the habitats that they come from.

Each child participating in the program received a book after the completion of the cyber session.
