Introduction

The day has finally arrived! After years of study, physical labor, and toil, you have finally been deemed good enough to be a knight. Your parents smile proudly from the stands as the king proclaims you the latest knight of the realm. Once you have been granted your knighthood, you look forward to long years of protecting your king and your own lands. You know that you will face frequent fights with other knights, and will possibly be able to travel to other lands to participate in far-off wars, and perhaps even the Crusades!

Three days after you receive your knighthood, a messenger rides up to your house. Frantically, he pants out the news. The king has been kidnapped! All knights are being gathered to go after his kidnappers. You smile, feeling confident that you are up to the challenge. After all, what else is a knight for?
