How long is Cyber Quest?

A typical session of Cyber Quest lasts for 1.5-2 hours.

 

Who can do Cyber Quest?

Cyber Quest is geared toward 12-16 year old teens. While developed for a public library, it can easily be used in a school or community setting as well.

 

What should we do?

Each session of Cyber Quest is divided into three parts.

Part One (30-45 minutes): Students should form teams of 2-5, depending on group size, and examine the provided resources.

Part Two (30-45 minutes): Students use their new knowledge to create a poster, brochure, newsletter, advertisement, or some other creative endeavor.

Part Three (30-45 minutes): Each team has 3-5 minutes to share their creative endeavor with the group.

 

Suggestions for Projects

Create a brief skit on some aspect of your topic

Create a poster with information about your topic

Create a television or radio advertisement about your topic

Create a newsletter or brochure with information about your topic

Use clay to create a 3D model relating to your topic.

Create a mural about your topic.

Create a collage about your topic.

Be creative! Express your individuality by creating something completely unique.
